Proposal photography in Madrid

A proposal lasts a few seconds, yet it's the story you'll tell for the rest of your life. My job is to be there, invisible, so that instant is kept forever exactly as it happens — the surprised face, the trembling hands, the first embrace.

Madrid sets a grand-capital scene: the golden sunset at Templo de Debod, the Retiro gardens, the solemnity of Plaza Mayor. It's no empty postcard set — it's a city with soul, a backdrop still beautiful when you show these photos thirty years from now.

You only think about the words. Everything else — the place, the light, the angle, the exact moment — is on me.

Before the day we settle the essentials by message: the time, where you'll arrive from, and a discreet signal — taking off your cap, reaching into a pocket — that tells me the moment has come. Your partner won't notice a thing.

I arrive early, set up at a distance with a telephoto lens, and blend in with any tourist watching the sunset at Debod or strolling through the Retiro. By the time you give the signal I'm already shooting. No poses, no glances at the camera — just the two of you and what truly happens.

After the yes I step out to say hello and, if you'd like, we do a relaxed twenty- or thirty-minute mini-session nearby, ring already on and nerves dissolved into laughter. That way you get both: the stolen instant and a set of beautiful portraits to remember it by.

Every couple has its place. Templo de Debod at sunset gives the golden sky mirrored in the water, Madrid's most romantic stage. The Retiro's Crystal Palace wraps the proposal in soft light and fine ironwork, intimate and elegant. Plaza Mayor or the central arcades bring historic stone and a big-city air if you want something more urban.

Light leads. The golden hour just before sunset is the magic window, especially at Debod; in summer sunrise works just as well, with the locations nearly empty. Spring and autumn give the best balance of clear skies, pleasant temperatures and calm.

You receive a digital gallery of carefully edited high-resolution photos, delivered within five to ten days and ready to share or print. The basic proposal covers the moment itself and a short couple session from €170; if you'd like to extend it with more time, a second location, video or hidden family, we tailor that with you at booking.
