How to choose a city for your photo session
Start with the kind of pictures you want rather than with the map. If you picture open horizons, bare feet and soft light on water, look at the coastal cities and the islands. If you want texture — carved doors, tiled courtyards, narrow lanes where light falls in strips — the historic inland cities suit you better. Big cities such as Madrid and Barcelona offer the widest mix: grand avenues, parks, rooftops and quiet neighbourhoods within a short ride of each other, which helps when a session needs several moods. Travelling? The simplest choice is usually the city where you are already staying, so that no part of the day goes on transport.
What to tell us when you book
A request needs only three things: the city, the type of session and an approximate date. Everything else we settle together. Mention who will be in the photos — a couple, a family with small children, a team — and whether you have a spot in mind or would like suggestions. Light decides the schedule more than anything else: the first hours after sunrise and the last before sunset are kinder to faces and emptier of crowds, while midday sun is harsh, so we normally propose a start time around them. We reply within 2 hours, confirm a fixed price before you commit, and deliver the edited gallery in 5-10 days.
