The session price is the same in both cities, so the setting decides. Alicante: more stable climate, better for "relaxed Costa Blanca" look. Valencia: more architectural options (Calatrava's Arts City), larger photographer pool, better for full editorial production. Frequent combination: 2-3 days Valencia + 1-2 days Alicante (1h45 drive, 1h30 AVE) — full Valencian Mediterranean coverage.
When is best to visit Alicante for photography?
Alicante works practically year-round (350 days of sun). Best months: March, April, May, October, first half of November. Temperature 18-26°C, no July-August tourist crowding. December-February also excellent — temperature 12-18°C, low golden light all day, no tourism. July-August: viable only 8:00-10:30 or 19:30-21:00 due to heat (30-35°C midday).
