A visual guide to the session styles we offer. The images on this page illustrate each category; the full gallery of real sessions is linked below.
What you will find in this portfolio
The gallery is organised by type of session rather than by date. Weddings, couples, family, maternity and children sit beside fashion, editorial, portrait and lifestyle work, with separate sets for engagements, proposals, anniversaries, events, pets and travel sessions. Use the filter above the gallery to see one category at a time; choosing “All” shows a mix of two frames from each. Click any picture to open it full size and move through the set. The images on this page illustrate each style; the complete gallery of real sessions opens from the button at the bottom of the page.
How to read a photography portfolio
Look past the location and at the things that will repeat in your own photos. Light: is it soft and even, or contrasty and dramatic? Colour: warm and natural, or muted and cool? People: do they look at ease, with hands, posture and expression unforced? Then check consistency: a strong series holds the same mood from the first frame to the last, rather than one lucky shot among average ones. Finally, notice the range of framing: wide scenes that show the place, mid shots that show the relationship, and close details. A gallery with all three tells the story of a day, not just how it looked.
Choosing the style that fits your occasion
Different occasions ask for different approaches. A wedding or an event is documentary by nature: the photographer follows what happens and stays out of the way. Couple, engagement and love-story sessions are lightly directed: you are given something to do rather than a pose to hold, which is why the results look natural. Family and children sessions move at the pace of the youngest person in the frame. Portrait, fashion and editorial work is the most controlled: each image is built around light, styling and a clear idea. Knowing which of these approaches you want makes the first conversation much shorter.
From the portfolio to your own session
When a category feels right, note two or three images that are closest to what you imagine and mention them in your request: a reference says more than a paragraph of description. Tell us the city and an approximate date, and we will reply with a format, a suggested location and a fixed price, confirmed before you book. You do not need to know how to pose: direction during the session is part of the job. The edited gallery is delivered online in high resolution, normally in 5-10 days, ready to print or share.
